Bond holders consent being denied by FNB

On 8 July 2019 at about 4pm, I sent an email to fnb requesting consent to rezone my property see link https://snipboard.io/cxD25V.jpg On 4 September 2019 they rep**** stating the following,"Hi Simphiwe. With regards to your enquiry, please note the following: Homeloans will realistically not give you consent as you would be diminishing the value of the asset by demolishing the structure thereon If you wish to re-zone the property for development, you would need to settle the outstanding bond and then as you no longer have a bond, you will not need to obtain consent from any institution and you can then proceed with the re-zoning on your own accord I trust the above is to your satisfaction" see link https://snipboard.io/UOGafW.jpg

I am not making this stuff up, it took FNB 2 months to get back to me on this. For fnb to get back to me I had to contact them so many times that I got tired. The one time I went into a brach and called using one of their phones and I was on hold for 21 minutes, again I swear I am not making this up see link https://snipboard.io/OIdpTb.jpg

2 months for a query that should have been resolved in 48 hours worst case scenerio 72 hours. The level of poor service from FNB smart bond is beyong this world.

So what is my point here ?

My point is I have been a loyal customer with fnb for years now, have been paying my bond, my car and my personal loans monthly without any issues. Now here I am trying to make more money for myself through rental units so I can be able to pay my bond to fnb faster with no issues in terms of missing payments, considering the economy and how people are loosing their jobs. I am actually trying to make a plan so I can continue being a good paying client to fnb yet fnb is refusing to give me a CONSENT letter which now means my plans to build the units must be parked.

So my question is would fnb be rather have me get retrechend and not be able to pay them for my car, loans and house or would they rather have me continue be a loyal client who pays his bills ? For me it is reverse thinking to deny a client consent for him to build units because if I get this consent it means more money for fnb from me. So why would they refuse ? It literally makes no sense.

This is my last try reaching out to fnb for a consent letter, failure to get it, I am terminating my relationship with the bank and I will take my services to discovery bank. In general the service levels from fnb are getting poorer. From being the bank at the forefront of innovation to a bank that fails to keep up with modem technology and failing to uphold great customer service.

Please note that when I take my business away from fnb I will make sure none of my friends or family members or collegues, church members, gyms members or any associated with me will ever open an account with fnb. My gf opened a ***** case with fnb and the case was not attended to and she ended up going to standard bank look her up samantha chatambudza, not only did she take away her money from fnb she also moved her company away from fnb, look her company up graysonreed consulting they were bringing in millions to fnb and all that was taken away because of poor service so if you guys think our queries are a waste of time then continue. We will keep taking our business away, capitec was nothing a few years back and now they are one of the biggest bank in south africa how do you think that happened ? People left all the big banks because of poor service.

I am done here this is the last post I will ever post about fnb. Emotionally I am done. Please note https://snipboard.io/KzPaNY.jpg as you can see I have already opened an account with discovery bank, and my medical aid is already with them so all my solutions will be under one house now so if you insist on refusing to help me out then it is simply a matter of changing my salary to be paid to discovery and that will be minus one client who has been consistent through out the years.
