Blocked Meter Electricity Gone Through
Generally FNB are a okay bank. But they become very unprofessional with regards to electricity purchases. I bought a R 300 worth of electricity on Sunday 01/11/2015 and I didn't get an sms for with a token number because I wasn't aware the meter was blocked. When I called in the first time I was given the free token AND NOT the main token. I do not understand why payment was deducted if the meter is blocked, I tried to purchase electricity with my Capitec account and instead of processing the purchase IT GAVE ME AN ERROR!!! Why the hell does FNB let payments go through on a blocked meter and then tell you that you must go to the municipality to enquire about an amount that didn't go through. I went to municipality to enquire AND no surprises, they can't assist me because payment doesn't reflect. SO WHERE DID THE MONEY GO?!<br> FNB had told me that it would still reflect and when I purchased the electricity was purchased the meter wasn't blocked, if that was the case then why did I not get a Main Token and only the Free Token. I feel very let down by FNB, I am loyal consumer but now I think I'll go back to using Capitec.
