Blocked account
On the 8th of July i tried to transfer via fnb internet banking but got an error message stating that my account is inactive ,error code 99999.I am currently not in South Africa so I called the contact centre various times and was thrown back into the call waiting queue by 1 consultant. The next conultant was rude and had no customer service s****s whatsoever ,she rudely asked me how much I want to transfer and that I must speak to Fnb internet banking. I then disclosed the amount of my transfer and my available balance ,and I as the client jad to tell her to check whats happening on my account if theres any notes n my account. She then told me that Fnb forex has blicked my account and they can only remove the hold.I was transfered back into the queue and not assisted bear in my im calling from abroad.I have submitted my self certification form to Fnb,so I would like to know what gives them the right to blick my account.Fnb did not advise me or give me any notice on this.I have an emergency and I cannot transcact on my account. This is abuse of power and humiliating for me as a client.I called the Crs department today and was told ,your account is blocked because you didnt submit the crs form really and was cut off .I have submitted this form on numerous occassions. This is unprofessional service coming from Fnb . You do not do this to clients .
