Beware of John from FNB/***** dept

I have been with FNB for 3 years now and never even once experienced any unpleasant service until a Lazy, Rude, unprofessional guy by the name of John from FNB ***** dept decided to cancel all my bank cards (2 Savings and a Business Cheque card). I saw sms's on my phone that my cards where stopped and immediately called the bank.

Upon realising who stopped my cards and queried why he never followed the process by phoning me first or putting a temp jold on the card in question, this John told me he tried to phone me and my phone was off, when I asked for the call ref number he changed the story to 'I actually tried calling but the call got disconnected). I email the FNB complaints dept only to be told I didnt suffer any loss as 'case closed' I guess going to the branch means I did not suffer loss of time and money. I then got a call from John rude as hell and talking over me while sarcastically apologising for stopping my cards without followinh the proper investigation channels. So to this day I'm still livid as hell as I was even charged R160 card replacement fee which I was promised was not going to be charged. I never thought I would leave a bank because a lazy person who was trained the proper way of doing their job but choose to take the short cut. I'm so dissapointed with what this guy did I have even started looking to do my banking elsewhere!!!!!
