Beware FNB's "free data"

They send a message stating: "To say thank you for being with FNB connect, you have received 1000MB of free data to use in the next 6 days." What they don't say however, is that you will first use your in-bundle data. So to get to the 'free data' you have to use all of your paid for data, then only get to the 1GB they have given, but only for 6 days. After those 6 days, the free data expires and, as you've used up all your paid for data, you'll have to purchase more. So, not free.

FNB's response is: "That is the sequence. There is nothing we can (will) do about it." Received a personal apology from the complaints call center lady (who was very understanding) but not from FNB. All they had to do was state the usage sequence up front and it wouldn't have been an issue.
