Being pre-approved for a cheque account

I was a loyal FNB client until recently. I want to upgrade my Easy Savings Account (which I didn't choose, was told system is not working well so the consultant recommend I choose that account in the meantime). I want to upgrade to a cheque account. I have been declined online for " an overdraft" ref# ********** ********** , but I am not trying to get an overdraft. Then I call and get send from pillar to post and eventually was advised that I have to be pre-approved for a cheque account. I cannot even have e-bucks or save on a flexi 32 account on the Easy Save that I am on. I have told the person I spoke to that I am leaving FNB and will shop for another bank that can provide answers and assist.
