Being open to Learning from a customer and colleague

I got a message to say I hadn't submitted all my business docs on a new business account, when I thought I had on the day I opened the account. Went back to FNB Cresta Branch. To cut a long story short, whilst there I learned that George Mashego at Sandton FNB knew the correct docs and procedure.

I asked Eric/Ike ( I can't remember his name, forgive me) the guy helping at Cresta to please call George at Sandton. Big Thanks to George for clearing up the misunderstanding and sharing his knowledge with Eric/Ike. Moreover a big thanks to Eric/Ike for accepting Georges guidance. Too often branches let their ego get in the way of learning something new. Eric was open enough to learn and apply quickly. Humility and flexibility displayed by Eric are leadership qualities. Very often customers just get given the standard throwaway line: "Thats our process Sir, we're just helpless robots who can think around it and solve your problem, blah, blah blah, come back another day" lol. I'm so glad that wasn't the case today. The result.... I didn't have to waste my precious time running from pillar to post. Eric contacted the company who registered my business and asked them to mail the correct docs while I was waiting in the FNB. Well done George and Eric
