"Beep" banks far superior than FNB

We are a medium sized company with annual turnover > R50 million. I co-founded the company in 1989 - so we have been around for ages.

We are trying to open a business account with FNB - their e-commerce facilities are supposed to be superior.

We app**** on 13 April 2016 and submitted all the required documentation.

Now on 9 June, the account is still not open. When we enquire, it is always a different person we are dealing with and they ask for documents that we have submitted over and over and over again.....

We have an account number, I have a gold credit card and and E-bucks card that were delivered but they are all useless because the account is not open!

Each time we enquire we are told: "It is in the final stage." "Should be open by this afternoon". etc. etc. Week after week after week.

We have had accounts with "beep" bank 1 and "beep" bank 2 for ages. Friendly and efficient service. I don't think we will be with FNB for long if they ever even open the account.

Frankly, this is the WORST service I have experienced in my entire life!

So it is very aggravating to hear their stupid ads on radio. We will be looking at submitting our case to the Advertising Standards Authority of SA - their advertising is grossly misleading.
