BE CAREFUL THE OPT SYSTEM IS NOT A FOOLPROOF METHOD

My son was ****med out of R10000 via an online purchase that used his debit card information. When he received a request to provide the OPT, he did not provide the OTP but the transaction still went through. We immediately cancelled the card and reported the incident to FNB ***** and were told not to worry as we did nor authorize the transaction (by not providing the OPT sent to him) and he will get his money back. It is now over 6 weeks and the money has not been refunded.

SO BE CAREFUL THE OPT METHOD IS NOT ANY GUARANTEE THAT THE TRANSACTION WILL NOT BE AUTHORISED!
