Be careful of FNB

I opened an account a couple of years ago, within the 2nd month after opening, I contacted the private banker and advised that he must please close that account, as I have not used it and will not be using it. He never closed the account and the charges just kept on increasing at R500 per month. numerous calls and conversations nothing happened, I eventually said I will pay the charges for the 2 months of the account, but not more as I requested the account to be closed. Still the account was kept open, eventually this was handed to Brooks & Luyt. Everytime they call me I explain the situation, 2 days later some one else calls and I have to explain again, and the account is still incurring costs now almost R11,000. I am now at a point where I want to contact the NCR as this has now indebted me without agreement and I see this as qualifying for reckless lending, not to talk about all the harassment and threatening emails.
