I've never despised a bank as much as I do now. Five years ago, Debt Busters sold me a dream, promising to help me escape debt. While they did consolidate my debts, it came with a catch. Despite having a good credit score of 680 points, I've been unable to get a simple credit card. Every application I made was rejected, yet FNB continued to offer me personal loans and revolving loans with exorbitant interest rates. It's clear they intentionally left red flags to charge me more interest and strip me of my financial freedom.
To those under debt review, beware of FNB's tactics. When you're ready to settle, ensure you follow up and stay vigilant.
