BANKS ARE ******!!!
WARNING TO ALL SOUTH AFRICANS
Be sure you are aware of what goes on in society, as you miss a massive Contravention, NAMED BANKS: FNB, ABSA, STD BANK.
PLEASE STOP HIDING AND MAKING US UNCONSCIOUSLY ACCEPT TERMS!!! *as the recipient*
So, Did you know that when you send a "cash send" or "ewallet" you(sender) and the "recipient" accept the terms and conditions.
Number 1
Your rights set out in the Consumer Protection Act, states clearly that a service terms and conditions needed to be explained to you in a language that you understand. This is proven by all banks that T&C's are not explained or advertised. Don't get me wrong they have it on their website, but really who has the access to get those terms and conditions there.
"Recipient" you don't get any information knowing about T&C's
Number 2
Why? After my attempts to have my matter resolved, I have then have to waste more airtime trying to get more information, only after 5 business I am advised nothing was logged and that only from that point it will be logged, so MY AIRTIME must be wasted just to have work done, and still receive no service.... PATHETIC!!! NOW TO THE MOST PERTINENT PROBLEM
I was told by an "FNB EMPLOYEE" that they have authority to access your account without your consent!!! What BS is that??? Now I understand why you have terms and conditions hidden so that when you find out, it's to late, it's said that you as FNB, can't be held responsible for lose of funds as the recipient.... SMART MOVE!!! BUT UNCONSCIOUS ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS IS ILEGAL!! (CPA no. 68 of 2008)
Oh!!! And your service managers are pathetic and should be reconsidered!!!
My proof can be substantiated with all documents of relevant allegations... should you request it.
