Banking sector has new vampire tendancies
The public is blissfully unaware that their hard earned money no longer belongs to them. It belongs to the Banking sector. After all , can you access your cash without their approval?

This is what happened to me.

I stopped at the ATM machine on my way home after work to draw a few rand to pay my workers wages, and my card get stuck in the machine.

A message flashed on the screen that I need to immediately contact my bank.

Now bear in mind, that we get charges some of the highest banking fees in the world and that using an ATM machine ( other than your own bank) results additional fees. One can argue that the blame should be shifted to the other banking institution, but thinking about the matter gives us clarity.

MY BANK DOES EXACTLY THE SAME! If someone with another banking card uses my bank's ATM, they get charges as well

HERE IS THE THING... I get told by the help desk that they have assisted me in cancelling my card ( Does not sort wages problem) and they can courier another card to me.

Oops forgot to mention ...getting the card is going to cost me R150

Makes one think about the VAMPIRE nature of banking sector ???
