Banking gone mad!

On 26th March I made a simple request to extend the time limit on one of my budget items. Nthabiseng, in her wisdom, decided to rearrange my entire profile without my knowledge, without discussing it with me and certainly without my authority. Since then it has been a running battle to stabilize my budget account to numbers that I could actually recognize. Every single mistake they made along the way, I was the one who was charged interest. I am now sitting with hundreds of Rands in interest because of mistakes by everyone who followed Nthabiseng. After Nthabiseng came Livhuwani, Pinky , victor, Cindy, Raphilewe, and so on. Eventually I went to the FNB branch at Bryanston on the 9th of April. A very nice young man tried to get hold of the supervisor or manager on the phone, he eventually had two phones going to try and get hold of somebody. One of the staff at the Premier suite, one Tiisetso Khama, refused to give him the name of the supervisor and refused to put him through to Pinki. Eventually on the second line came someone who told us the supervisor was Bongani Smasina and the operational manager was Sivanasen Pillay. So after holding on for 52 minutes on two separate phone lines, I spoke to Bongani, who gave me his assurance that the matter would be dealt with. No need to tell you that dozens of phone calls and emails later, I am no further forward than I was in the morning of the 26th of March, all the while they have continued to make errors on my account for which I am being charged interest every time. For instance, I had twelve separate items on my budget account. On the 5th of April funds are supposed to be allocated to each item. Because I could no longer recognize my account and I could no longer recognize the figures, I continued to speak to them almost daily. By the 19th April I spoke to yet another genius called Ivan who announced that he was probably the only person who could sort this out and the only person I hadn't spoken to yet, and I expressed my concern because all the figures looked foreign to me that I couldn't tell what had and what hadn't been paid, to which he rep**** that only some items had been paid, I was furious and asked why, to which he could not give an explanation. The outstanding amounts were then paid but I was charged interest for non payment from 1st April to 19th April. I was charged interest for every amount that the genius Nthabiseng moved around, increased my straight limit, then decreased it again, I was charged interest a every turn. Furthermore, every single amount had been increased by R20, R30, R52, R70. Even the one original amount swiped on one of the items had been increased by R72. Now since all this mess began, two installments have been taken off my budget items. You would think that I owe less now than I did then, well, think again, because on Saturday 5th May I received an SMS advising me that my monthly repayment has now doubled. How is that even possible? So on Saturday evening, I sent a long email addressed to Sivanasen Pillay and Bongani Smasina, detailing what I could see on my online banking, numbers changing all the time, and an additional email asking them to contact me as soon as possible. On Monday morning, I followed that with another email to them, and on Monday afternoon, I asked one of them to please let me know what the total outstanding amount was as my son wants to pay it all and end this nightmare. It is now 16h32 and no one has contacted me. I have kept a diary note of everyone one I have spoken to and everyone I have written to. This is the worse case of gross negligence and incompetence I have ever come across. I have never received anything resembling an apology, they have refused to accept responsibility for their actions, they have refused to reinstate my profile to what it was on the morning of 26th March, in short, they have been consistent in one thing only, their refusal to assist a customer when one of their own staff decided to play God with my finances. I even tried to contact one of the directors of FNB, one Jacques Celliers, I think he's the CEO, but they're all too big to speak and listen to their customers, I even sent all my then correspondence to care@fnb but I've still not heard from them, it should be don't care@fnb I am so disgusted and disappointed so if anyone out there knows how I can actually get hold of someone at FNB who is senior enough to rectify this matter, I would really appreciate it. If you think you are in control of your bank accounts, think again, Nthabiseng can change anything at any time without your permission, and hope like hell you don't get stuck with an Nthabiseng or any of the others mentioned here. Good luck out there.
