Banking Fees like a 5 Star Bank, Services like a rat-shop
My credit card was going to expire 12/2020. As I did not receive a new card by beginning of December, I've send them a notification on the 10th of December 2020. After this I have received several messages from FNB, such as "Your complaint will be handled on high priority", "Your case has been forwarded to another department", etc. Now, seven weeks later and after expiring of the credit card, various reminders, nothing has happened. This is absolutely disgusting

20 Jan 2021, 12:03Dear FNB,
I have received a notification from your side to my private EMAIL account that the case will be handled on a high priority, referring to your above mentioned case number. In order to refer to the pending case that I have opened beginning of December, I had immediately rep**** to this message by informing you about the already existing case numbers.
The only thing that happened until now from your side, I have received an automated reply that the case is now handled by the FOXEX department. The same department has this case already on its table for more more month without doing any action.
I have now decided to escalate the case to the governmental banking supervision, to let them them know how ineffective FNB handles customer issues.
Summarizing, FNB is not in a position to handle the easiest tasks.
By the way, two years ago I had to change my overseas address. FNB could not even copy the correct address from their form to the system correctly, as they did not take over the country of residence from the paper to its IT system. I had informed FNB several times about this mistake, but as always no action or not even any reaction. Seems that even this is too complicated for FNB. I'm really concerned that if there is a semi-complicated issue in the future, how will FNB deal with this?
On the contrary, if FNB needs an information from my side and I do not provide this within an extreme short deadline given to me, FNB *********s me by threatening that they will freeze all my accounts.
This is such a poor behavior. In another country, banks like FNB would be out of business within a few years.
