BANKING ACCOUNT CHANGED WITHOUT CONSENT

I was not impressed by the treatment i got from FNB recently. On the 6th of July i received this email from my private banker :

"Dear Andrew I trust you are well, I tried calling you but unable to get through and I sent you an sms well, please update your personal details via online banking if incorrect. I have changed your account type and card to Fusion, kindly see attached, sign and send back to me?"

To my surprise my account was action ed to be changed without my consent and i was notified that my card was being delivered to me So i inquired further about how this could have all of a sudden happened without my consent and the reply below is what got :

ME: Hi Lebohang, i have not authorized a change on my account please revert back to what it was.

REPLY: "Hi Andrew I noted that you could benefit for having the fusion card in terms of a lower debit rate and getting more eBucks points."

The change would not have affected you negatively as I have stated below, however, I do apologies if I have offended and this will never happen again.

How does a bank take decisions that are in your best interest without your consent?I was seriously uncomfortable with how this can just be done without my consent in the first place? I am still waiting for a new private banker to be allocated to me as this was my urgent request. my current banker Lebohang Dlamini promised an update and i have yet heard nothing back. FNB how long do i now have to wait for a new private banker to be allocated to me.
