"Bank of the Changeables"

I called FNB on 16 March 2022 to close a cheque account I have & then spoke to 2 different consultants, until I was transferred to Innocent in the debit card division to assist. It was then established that I will have to go inside the branch because this account is dormant. On 17 March, I went to the Centurion Mall FNB, sat down to speak to a consultant and then she had to call a supervisor to assist with the status of my profile. The supervisor advised that I'll have to call the Head office due to my profile as a different issue is raised. Whilst at the branch, called the number & nothing happened. Asked the young lady on the floor to try again, no answer & no one around to assist me. I then left the branch. As someone that never goes inside a branch, makes use of digital banking, online communication, etc, how is it possible that my issue was never resolved as I made use of all the communication mediums available to have something sorted out. A different issue was raised that blocked the process of this 1 cheque account to be closed. The issue was also something that was communicated to FNB in writing and was never resolved since 12 January 2022. For an institution with such great innovation in the digital world, this service was shocking to see not being resolved and I tried, online, telephonically & face to face.
