BANK CHARGES *******

I have been with First National Bank for just over 15 years so far. In the 15 years of me being their customer, i have never seen something like this. Ordinarily, on a month to month basise, i would pay just around R616 bank charges,w hich given my financial status, i don't complain much about such. However, this month of January 2017, the bank has charged me R1701, 68 citing among other other things, cash handling fee of R740. Nonsense. This is a complete ******* and i am not prepared to pay such nonsense. I am even more than prepared to take this matter up with Bank Ombudsman. This is a total *******, needless to mention the fact that, such nonsensical charges have never appeared anywhere previously on my bank charges, even when i had just above R100, 000 bank balance on my account. Frivolous idea by the bank and i will report this ************ conduct to the Ombudsman for Banking. The amount that the bank has charged me, it is the equivalence of my son's school fees per month, only R100 short.

Rahim, i really don't care about your apology, just resolve this ******* you intended to charge me. A colleague of mine who is a private banker with FNB, who is always having a cash flow in excess of R500k in his bank account has never been charged that ridiculous amount of money (bank charges). In fact he was the one who enlightened me up about your silly conduct. At this point, your apology is a very meaningless ploy to me. Just resolve this and stop apologising to me. I promise you, if you go ahead with this, i will take this to the Ombudsman for Banking.
