Ban Query Number ***
This bank pays only lip service to complaints, it seems to allow its senior managers to use their bank employee email accounts for personal use in which ever form the bank employee sees fit.
My personal correspondence was sent to a bank employee by a third party to whom the bank employee has a personal interest as a chairperson of a governing body. I queried this email transaction with the sender who is mute on the subject and I queried this with the bank who has failed to respond since 12 / 08 / 2020 despite promising a response within 24 hours.
The bank should be aware of the POPIA Act, and it should be aware that when their employees use their bank email addresses for private use in operating a third party business that such an act is ******* and that my correspondence is privileged and unless addressed to FNB should be scrubbed off their servers.
It would seem from FNB`s lack of response that FNB is in support of their employed running external businesses from their official FNB email accounts as they please.
Perhaps this public platform will get a result out of this bank.
