Bad services
Firstly I've been an FNB client since 2018 and I've always recommended it to others but since covid they have just taken a turn for the worst and I'd definitely advice anyone to steer clear of this gradually degrading bank. So about 2 years back they back the fnb team deactivated my fnb connect sim which was fully operational and also connected to my banking profile which caused me to lose a R1000 due to the fact that I couldn't access my cellphone banking profile. After long and extensive calls to their customer care they told me they couldn't even help me recover my money so I just let it be and continued using it.
In January 2023 I went to the centurion lifestyle branch to enquire about something pertaining to my account and rudeness I encountered from one of their supervisor was utterly disgusting so I decided it was time to cut ties with them, I was advised to send an email by their live chat agents on the 4th of January and still haven't received a response nor was any action taken to process my request but recently I've been receiving emails and texts threatening to blacklist me when their incompetence has already been further damaging my credit score for the past few months. Fnb used to be a great bank but it seems like they have grown wealthy enough to disregard *customer service*
