Bad services

I have been struggling to close my fixed deposit account with First National Bank , i have send instruction to close the account on 19 August 2020 , even today on 22-September 2020 the account still not closed. when i request the close it , they charge me penalty fees of R1680. I'm closing all my account with FNB after the service i got.
