Bad service is not even a statement

In 1999 i had a credit-card with Fnb. I have lost my job and moved back in with my parents. Round about May 2000 a debt collector called me and came to see me about the outstanding R5000 on my credit card. My father offered to pay the settlement. Now i want to finance a car thru westbank and they are refusing to do so as my credit card is still outstanding from 2000, witch have been paid. Now they want proof of payment for something witch was paid 16years ago and refuse to finance my vehicle until the credit card is paid. If that is the case why did they finance 3 vehicles in 2013. That is why i have closed my accounts at FNB an never would recommend them to anybody as they are useless. Apparently the money my dad paid was not allocated to the credit card. Whose fault is that now? Mine?? They better get their act together. Maybe they are just upset because i closed my accounts thanks to their incompatancy
