Bad Service - ID ***** Dept not communicating
I am Mr Qoqonga, a victim of ID *****. I was informed by FNB Sandton City that someone **********ly opened an account using my ID. They showed me the copy of a ********** ID, and told me to contact African Bank, as the ********* app**** for a loan there. I contacted African Bank, they needed me to send a certified copy of my ID with seven signatures, and a copy of affidavit. The case was then assigned to an investigator who asked FNB to send proof that I am the correct person, and not the person they opened the account for in 2012. This would enable African Bank to advise SAFPS to issue a protective letter that I can use when opening accounts. I did the finger verification at FNB, but they did not give me the letter, instead they contacted their ID ***** dept, which gave me SAFPS forms to fill, which I did, but now we can't get a hold of them. Even the branch is unable to. I proved that I am the true person, did finger verifications and even got a new Smart Card ID from Home Affairs. If my fingerprints are corresponding with my face, and FNB can see that the ID with the *********'s face is not corresponding with my fingerprints, why can't FNB clear me? My accounts are frozen, stuck
