Bad service from FNB bank 🤬
I am so upset I received my refund for tax year 2023 and suddenly fnb decide to place a reserve on my account, now they want Sars to verify if this is the correct amount then I have to wait 48 hours for my money. I am furious first of all do fnb really think Sars will pay money into the wrong account, secondly who are they to put stuff on my account withholding me from using my own money. I have children who must eat and I can't use my own money. I am changing my bank for sure and I will tell everyone about this nonsense 🤬

09 Jul 2023, 15:46I was at a fnb branch anch yesterday, trying to find out why my account was put in reserve and y I do not have excess to my money, since nobody notified me that this will happen. I went home when the bank closed, since the morning I arrived there. I was talking to multiple people on the fone from the call center.... The last person said she would put me through to the ***** department after I explained myself for the 5th time, instead she dropped my call. I was literally talking to people who stories did not match to why my account is in reserve. This is a huge problem for me, I could loose my job if I do not have funds to get to cape town on Monday morning 6 o clock, I was told my money would be back in my account after 48 hours... Still there's nothing in my account. I want to know who is going to take responsibility for me loosing my job and for the fact that I had to go make a loan to get home and for the Xtra money I need o pay to that person, I am very very angry for this situation fnb has put me in 😡
