Bad service from FNB
On 16 Jan I was made aware of being a victim of identity *****. I contacted FNB and the person I spoke to told me that they will flag my account so that no new debit orders are loaded onto my account without my concent. On the same day, I got an affidavit from the police station as well. On the morning of 29 Febr 2020, i woke up with an sms from FNB stating that an amount of R1026.26 was debited from my account for Telkom. I contacted both FNB and Telkom to lodge a complaint and eventually on 5 March 2020 I managed to get the debit order reversed AT A COST OF R40! The same thing happened again on 13 March 2020 where another amount was deducted for Telkom from my account. This time it was for R 1524.26. Again I phoned both FNB and Telkom to get clarity of this situation. I disputed the debit order and AGAIN I was charged R40 to reverse the money. I spesifically requested my initial voice recording from FNB but till today, I have had no luck in getting anything voice recordings from FNB. Today, 31 March ANOTHER amount of R762,13 has been debited for a Telkom account WHICH I DID NOT OPEN! In addition to the above, I have the following issues: 1. I am being charged R40 each time to reverse/dispute debit orders for an account which I did not open. To date this amount has totaled R160. 2. Because of the fact that I need to reverse the debit orders every 2 week, and because this will now be the 3rd time in doing so, my Credit Score has been affected negatively. 3. In this confusing and scary time of Covid 19, I really don't have the meens to cope with these sort of issues.
