Bad service for bad debt

I have been trying to get through to a live human for the past 2 hours to arrange full settlement of my OLD credit card debt. When I do get a human, I get transferred to another department and the phone just disconnects. I think I am going to stop paying this "debt" - then maybe they will phone me instead. ****** terrible service.
