Bad service fnb home loans

I have been a fb client from 1994 and fnb Homeloans since 1998 and generally received good service. I had a flexibond. This facility was cancelled due to a small mistake I made. I made a calculation error when making a large purchase and my account went into arrears with +- R1000. A week later I received a call notifying me about this wich I fixed immediately after the call.

At no point was I told that the facility will be cancelled during the call.

A couple of days later I saw that the flexibond was cancelled. I phoned and was told that it is because of the account going into arrears and I must re-apply for activation. I looked at the original contract and that states that it will be cancelled when going into arrears by a monthly payment for more than 30 days. Even the new application form states that? So I am very upset about the lack of comminication and very poor service.

If that is how fnb treats 20 year plus clients then maybe it is time to move to another bank.
