Bad Service
I sent a request to First National Bank to Close my cheque Account number is *** on the 18th of January 2024. The Account was successfully closed a week later but to my Surprise, the request was not yet done because I specifically requested the bank to transfer the remaining balance to my Alternative Account which my business Cheque account that is still with FNB. Even today, the request hasn't been done, they sending me pillar to post always telling me that it'll be done the next day. It's been a month now speaking to them with no Success

21 Feb 2024, 09:50I went to the branch today to seek assistance and still I got nothing, they gave me a number to call ***, I spoke to a lady called Lerato and still they also told me they cannot assist me, I just came out of the hospital, been battling for months, trying to sort out my medical bills and health. The branch said they cannot assist because my account is already closed, My Question is WHERE IS MY MONEY THEN!!!?? and why would FNB want to keep my funds, it's not theirs it's mine. I'm so tired of this. It's been a whole month fighting this and I've never experienced such incompetence

21 Feb 2024, 11:58I'm absolutely upset with FNB right now, I called Lerato from private banking again and she put me on hold, Came back and told me she can't assist me, mind you this morning I went to the branch, Sick as I am and Still been told the same thing

22 Feb 2024, 16:15I was Simply ignored by FNB and my Request wasn't fulfilled even today. I'd urge people to never use this bank or is it because I am foreign and I am never prioritised

I received an email from FNB where they asked Lungile dube to Escalate this to business department to close off the whole profile which I don't have a problem with because I no longer want to bank with FNB. Lungile suspected *****ulent activities but not even once he/she never called. I'm so fed up it's been a month and nothing is happening
