Bad service

You purchase a vehicle via Wesbank Finance. The vehicle gets repossesed and for three to four years wesbank fails to contact you to collect on what is owed,they dont issue and serve summons to you. They dont inform you for how much your vehicle was sold for. Knowing that your debt has prescibed you give them a call and request a letter of prescription still dealing with them cautiously you request a letter of prescription and they tell you that account is handed over to debt collection department and the collection department tell you that they have given it to third party.

They claim that they have been trying to get hold of you and you tell them that you have never received their calls nor did you receive their communication via post or email for three to four years. you request proof of same for two months they fail to provide it to you.

They are well aware that they can not claim the debt after three years unless the person has acknowledged to owing them, or they have served you with summons and so on.
