Bad service

Early August we got granted a home loan by FNB. Now when you get a home loan for an existing house there’s 2 types of lawyers namely bond registration and transfer attorneys.

The bond registration are from the bank which are MacRobert Attorneys in this instance. The experience with MacRobert which is FNB attorneys has been severely disappoint. My husband and I were requested to go to their office in Brooklyn and sign documents beginning of Sep. Indeed we went in to sign. For a period of about 2 weeks we didn’t hear from them. It was after this period that we followed up on the process and we were informed that the bank has rejected the forms. She asked us to go sign again which we did. Few weeks later, she phoned and said there was another error we need to sign some forms again. It’s now been 2 months and no significant progress has been made besides being asked to sign over and over again. When we wrote an email to MacRobert, all we got was we acknowledge receipt of your email and we will keep you updated. The attorneys showed no care in the world and besides having to ask them that we need to move as we have leased out our current house. We were rudely ignored and there’s no assurance provided to us that this transaction will be handled with due professional care. When I tried to contact FNB, I was told they are closed I must try the following business day.
