Bad service

It is with disappointment that I write this review about FNB, a bank which I have been with for a while now. On the 28th of June I noticed that double debits had gone through from my account to pay for my personal loans that I currently have with them. In May my salary came in late which is something I wasn't aware of and when FNB tried to deduct on the 25th,they couldn't. I then received an sms few days later to make an arrangement to pay for the arrears which I did. I arranged for one to be paid in two months and the other in 4 months and indicated this should happen on the 1st of July. However FNB found it necessary to deduct my account twice for the same amounts without even making me aware. This has left me with a negative Balance on my account as some of my debits didn't find money in the account. I have been trying to call the loans department since the first and after R250 worth of airtime I still haven't received help from a bank whose closing line is "How can we help you". One gets put on hold for more than 30 minutes, while listening to the call centre music but receives no help whatsoever. I am appalled at the service that this bank has given me in the past few days as I have always been a loyal customer. What does one need to do to ever get through to their irritating call centres and speak to someone, anyone.
