Bad service

I went to make a withdrawal at FNB Molteno branch and just after withdrawing there was load shedding and my card didn't come back out when the machine came on again, i went inside the branch and was told i cant get my card back, the question is , how is it my fault? because i entered the correct pin and load shedding isn't my fault .
