BAD SERVICE
After banking with FNB for years and having a few accounts with them I have for the first time received the worst service of my life.
I have been trying to open up a savings account for my son, everytime I went to the bank they had a different story. They then told me that I could open it online (I didnt have any more time to waste going to the bank)
I have now done this, and I have sent through the documents numerous times. The account is still not active. Everytime I call they put me through to someone who either doesnt answer or is the wrong person. I prob spent an hour one day just calling back and back and back. I can never be put through to the same person I have spoken to so i have to start my story again to a new person who will then just transfer me again to someone else who doesnt know or hangs up. I have been told MANY times that i will be called back, but i have never been called back. Your telephone consultants do not care at all about your customers and good service!!!! Why they are hired is a mystery to me as they are prob loosing FNB business rather than helping. I have called and have asked to speak to a manager, but a manager is never available. I feel your consultants just lie to avoid the situation. "My manager will call you shortly" but not a peep. Also your telephone consultants have no clue about your products.
I was on maternity leave for 4 months and I have STILL not managed to open this account and now I am back at work.
I am in client service myself and I find this behaviour shocking and extremely disappointing,
