Bad service

The level of service FNB provides is appalling .

I got charged a items paid no funds fee numerous times for transactions i did when there was money in my account but because FNB failed to authorise and reserve the amounts for the merchant on the same day it became my problem when the merchant banked their terminals 3 /4 days later. I then got charged for past transactions and thus resulting in my account falling into a negative . Then FNB would see it fit to charge me a whooping R50 .

When I dispute these transactions - I get ******* responses like this one "Thank you kindly for your most recent communication pertaining to an amount of R50.00 debited from your account Kindly note these amounts were for the negative balances that had accumulated on your account .." from consultants like Nkululeko Shushu who are too lazy to read (by the way doesn't receive calls not do they return calls).

I also queried 2 charges that go off every month , value added service fee and service fee . I was under the impression that the account would cost me R160 per month but i have additional charges.

I know most of the time i am not available on my phone but a simple voicemail messages saying "Hi this is so and so from X company, calling about xy and z call me on this number when you have chance " That would not hurt .

We also have jobs . We don't sit the whole day waiting on FNB to call us about queries we logged .

In fact that is what Customer service is about. Not this service FNB provides they miss call you that is it and they send a stupid email stating the obvious.

When I sent the email I knew why I was sending it and would have liked thorough assessments done.

I would have really appreciated it had Nkululeko made contact either via telephone and let a vm had he not been able to get a hold of me or send an email explaining what the charges were for then we would have had one query to deal with which I can tell you now FNB was having a problem with authorisations it's just that not enough people called their desk . It's only when a select few starting complaining and they had to reverse one or 2 transactions when they realised their system was faulty .

Instead of reversing all incorrectly charged transactions they sit with people's hard earned monies and now people like me have sit and type long ratings on hellopeter because FNB has issues with their systems and some of their resources .

I need my query to be re-assess by someone who will respond withing the 1 business day. not 3 .

I want to know from FNB :

1 - Why I have vaule added service Fees and what they are for ?

2- Why they charged me all this R50 for issues they have that have absolutely nothing to do with me

Thank you
