Bad Home loans Service costs me dearly

On applying to activate the flexi option on my homeloan account the fiasco begins. First the branch doesn't send my documents. Then after i have gone back they manage to send the documents...to the wrong address. Finally I submit the documents personally.

Next I am asked to fill out a debit order form in order to qualify for this option. I stipulate and amount and the next day on which it should be debited, the 15th of March, as I have already made my payment for February. The flexi-option is activated and I receive a one line email: 'Your account will be debited on Thursday'. Bear in mind it is Thursday on that day. Which Thursday?? Turns out she meant Friday...who knew? Next I get a message saying 10k will be debited--my repayment amount is 8000. I protest. This is corrected.

I am then instructed to transfer funds from my homeloan so that the now active debit can go off in February. I tell them multiple times I have already paid for February and could they please move the debit order to 15 March. These request are ignored. The debit goes off for a month I have already paid for.

End result: I now have R8000 less capital then when I began. Because of this erroneous date R8000 of my money has been sucked into the system and dissapeared. R8000 which I urgently needed. When I complain the lady tells me to call the call centre. Yes, just what I feel like doing after this long and drawn out saga in which everything possible was done incorrectly.
