Bad FNB Insurance Service

My niece (registered as additional driver on FNB Insurance) drove from Vanderbijlpark to Durban in December with kids under heavy rain. It was raining heavy and she drove into a puddle of water. Car could not start the next day. Car was towed to BMW dealer in Durban and after assessment by BMW, damages to fix are R37 000 because they must replace the whole computer box due to water damage. To my disappointment and now also dismay to the FNB Insurance assessment I received the email that reads as ff:

“Unfortunately we will not be able to cover these damages.“

What pains me is that water damage is covered on my insurance schedule. If FNB Insurance is failing to fix damages of 37 000 what more about my other expensive cars that are also covered in the same FNB Insurance?

I’m sorry but I’m leaving FNB Insurance and will also move my account to another Bank. They are new in the market, why they taking chances on Insurance portfolio?
