Bad fnb homeloans experience

As a loyal fnb customer it was inevitable that I apply for a homeloan with them. As expected my first homeloan application was nothing short of magical. Though I was a contract worker I received a very good rate and 90% loan. A few years latter I sold that house and made a bit of profit. Surprisingly when I was moving to my second property, I was granted a smaller loan that required me to put a down payment equal all my profit from the sale. Being loyal to the bank, I opted for them though i had a 100 % offer from a rival bank. My hope was to access the funds later for renovations as I had bought an old property with potential. It didn't happen, every attempt to borrow from my homeloan for renovations fell flat. I persevered in form of personal loans from rival institutions. Fast foward to 2019,the property I bought for under 1.1mill is worth 1.65mill (certified valuation). Now I have decided to sell it and secure a plot for future development. With a guaranteed profit and also prospect of closing multiple debt I incurred, I approached my beloved bank through my banker to apply for a R700000 stand. Mind you I onlu required 60% of that payable over 10 years. I got a shock to be declined with minimal explanation. Considering I was going to half my debt term and also reduce my monthly payment from R1000 to just under R6000, I don't understand why I couldn't qualify. Am disappointed as I strongly support the "Move my home not homeloan campaign". Now am forced to not only move my home and homeloan but my entire banking to a new Institution that will support my dreams. Disappointed
