BAD EXPERIENCE WITH FNB LOC

Today I am reviewing FNB Law on Call! After having been with them for a while, I called on the 17th of September (2021) to ask for help as my landlord was refusing to pay back my deposit refund (I had moved out in August).

The lady advised that they can only assist with a letter of demand as the amount was below 20k.. asked that I send all previous communication I had with the landlord and from there, her colleague would assist with the letter. I did that and waited... months went by with no reply until two weeks back when I got a call from them. The lady wanted to find out what happened.. and I'm like but I sent everything and waited on you guys to get back to me. She sounded surprised, asked that I resend the email/s, which I did, and guess what? It's been two weeks now and STILL no response/assistance from their side.

If they can't help with a simple letter of demand, what about bigger issues that I may need help with in the future?? It's clear I will get the same treatment. They either don't check emails or straight up ignore them. So, if you're reading this and considered Law on Call, please DO NOT! I'm thinking of switching to Clientele legal, hoping they are quick to assist their clients.
