Bad customer service!!! Total and utter dissapointment !!!

About three months ago I purchased an android smartphone through First National Bank. After about about a month of use the screen cracked whilst in my pocket, I did not drop it, bump it against anything or nothing to that effect. I took the phone back and reported this at my branch in Parow! I was told that this was a factory fault and to hand the phone in.

I have now contacted the bank numerous times with no feedback. Eventually I was referred to I 6 who was apparently contracted to repair these phones. I was at the I 6 workshop 9 times to eventually be told that they do not repair these phones anymore as they can not source the screens.

I then went back to my branch to resolve the issue, no luck, everytime driving from Milnerton to Parow during working hours!!

I was using this phone for business and have been without a phone for approximately three months, this is ridiculous!!

I have yet to get a callback from my bank to get a new phone or to get feedback! I have paid the deposit and is paying monthly for a phone I do not have!!

Although this is an issue about a phone, I am now at the point where I am about to close my account!

I havent experienced such bad customer service in a very very long time !

Shame on you FNB! I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A VERY LOYAL CUSTOMER, NOW YOU TREAT ME LIKE THIS!

Please please be so kind and to replace my phone as soon as possible or I will definily blow this all over social media and wherever else I can publish this, it is just not on!!!

Mark Howell

Account number: ********** 2

Parow Branch

Branch Code: **********

Cheque Account

The fact that you made contact and does not mean much does it! Apologise for the inconvenience just to give more bad news!!

I am repeating this!

I have been without a phone for three months now!!

Today you give me feedback and tell me that new screens are going to be arriving the end of the month only, that will make it four months without a phone, then it is repairtime, how long is that going to take??

What about the payments?? Am I going to be credited?

This is not on guys!

It is a disgrace to say the least!!

If I could take the remaining star away I would have, unbelievable!!!

Almost four months without my FNB phone......

Time after time I have to contact back for Feedback!

I bought this specifically for work!

Ifix Canal Walk received two screens to repair screens seriously …?

My phone was not one of the two repaired...

The least you could do was to advise us of this. You kept me hanging for the last three weeks!! Screens are on the way ?

That was after the preceding three months without a phone? Yes three months! This saga started in June it is now October!

I am paying a contract! You even refuse to credit me for the months without a phone ?

I am also contacting the Western Cape Action Forum to take this further

This is **************** and unbelievably bad bad service by FNB unbelievable !

I really really hope this can be resolved asap!

Please contact me telephonically I do not wish to communicate further via email, because your complaints resolution agents are not empowered to resolve anything it seems. Unless it is positive feedback without any delays again.
