Bad bad bad customer service

I'm done with fnb, I can't access any facility's because of old debt they wrote of which was a premier credit card, now I have my business and personal on fnb just to pay over R1000 a month fees with no help from them , I'm switching to standard bank which is offering me way more, I tried contacting fnb so many times with no help from them they just reroute your call to another and another person, in the end you get fed up and cut the call, my debt was written off, it isn't on my profile nor can the consultants pick it up on they system how do I get it cleared? Last time I tried they keep reffering the matter to other people every few days and the last message I got theyl give me feedback after 20+ days, After trying over a year I'm done I'm switching to standard bank which gave me a bond n more offering my business facilities, no business person can wait for stuff to process to long it should of been taken as a serious matter and be sorted out asap, I'm done

Reviewer Update
I wrote a review about this issue back in 2022, and here I am in 2026 facing exactly the same challenge with FNB.
What I find particularly frustrating is that the latest reason given is "affordability." We are told that the business account sometimes carries low balances and that higher balances are required to qualify for finance. But surely the entire purpose of applying for a business facility is to improve cash flow and working capital. It seems contradictory to expect a business to already have excess cash flow before it can access a facility designed to assist with cash flow.
Our business has maintained this account since 2019 and continues to operate successfully years later. The fact that we are still trading, employing people, serving customers, and banking with FNB should itself demonstrate sustainability, resilience, and a proven trading history.
After years of loyalty, it is disappointing to feel as though the realities of running a small business are not being properly understood. If anything, this review should serve as evidence of the longevity and stability of our business, despite the ongoing challenges in accessing support from a bank that promotes itself as a relationship bank.
