Avoid FNB - Take your Home loan applications to another bank! Avoid FNB
My father opened my account with FNB before I was born! 36 years later I am ashamed to call them my bank! After always having recommend them to everyone. On my first home bond application they came up short and Standard bank got the bond...its a first home loan this happens...I tried to switch the home loan to them 5 times no luck...horrible private wealth bankers and service. I though this was just accident and shrugged it off. I app**** for my second bond...Whahahahha ABSA Standard bank and Nedbank approved it and FNB...we are sorry sir we did all we can but we cannot help you. Please note I got between prime -1.25 and -0.95 from above banks. I've had to follow up with FNB every single day just for them to say we cannot help me! Shame on you FNB for treating a loyal customer like this shame on you!
Did not think you could top your bad service but you did. Your private banker / wealth manager system is just a marketing ****. Even the manager of the private bankers got involved could not achieve anything. You guys finally got back with an offer 2 weeks later, rate was higher than the rest with a multitude of conditions. Slow clap for missing the deadline, missing the rate and still trying to convince i am getting a good deal.
Best part FNB complaints department cares even less they just say its being attended to.
Overall i have zero respect and confidence left in FNB.
