ATM users mistreated and manhandled by VENUS guard at Park station. Beware of the worst.

Today around around 06h43 after knocking off from night shift passed by park station where my colleague wanted to withdraw cash deposited via eWallet asked me to assist him, which I did. There was three ATMs one apparently not used so we queued and followed suit as people didn't go to it. As time came for my colleague's turn to the ATM I went along with him as per his request. There was a female security guard who came and told me I'm not allowed to the ATM in response u told her the money to be withdrawn is to come to me and helping a colleague to withdraw as GE wasn't conversant with FNB cardless withdrawal and my colleague said to her why mind our business withdrawing cash whilst failed to direct people to the ATM as we found people queueing without going to the ATM she suddenly forcefully dragged me from the ATM where I helped my friend and people in the queue started screaming telling her that what she's doing is unnecessary but she arrogantly continued to mistreat us and failed to acknowledge she's at faulty thus wrong. Three other male guards from VENUS security came to us wanting to fight us and the bystanders told them the female security is the wrong one while she continued to disrespectfully told us we had attitude just because my friend told her she didn't assist us by just standing while of three working ATMs she just stood and didn't tell customers to use the first ATM on the right. Most if us in the queue we only saw one lady trying it out and made her withdrawal and left that's when everyone in the queue started queueing for it. In her response she said we didn't ask her if it's working that's when colleague said she didn't offer assistance then and that he didn't need her assistance now. To be honest the female security proved to be disinterested and no care at all but had the audacity to bully us at the ATM by dragging us from. As we decided to leave my colleague said we'll find another ATM next to Capitec ATMs but just before that three other guards from VENUS security came to the scene and stopped us in our work uniforms ready to charge at us even when bystanders told the female guard is the one at faulty for abusing her post powers. It was like they wanted to arrest us despite being told what happened earlier. I kept explaining one thing to them but they didn't buy our story as to what had happened. Myself and my junior and colleague told them they were disregarding what we told them and what bystanders told them.

I am very sure they wanted to arrest for something wrong the lady did as though they were covering up for her or something judging by the way they treated what we and bystanders said to them.

There something was very odd. We then left to the other ATMs next to Capitec towards Noord street exit. There we found another female guards from VENUS security which we asked to help my colleague and she said as security guards they're not allowed to assist customers at ATMs that also sounded very odd. We then proceeded to the FNB ATM and effected cardless withdrawal and the left.

What we experienced today was trauma more like crime of ******* or arrest waiting to happen by those guards

The FNB guards at the Park station next to bus counters conducted themselves improperly and ********ly as it happened. Something odd was at play which we did not notice. I do not know if they have matric it is it one of those security guards who doesn't possess interpersonal communication skills and problem solving skills. They clearly had something sinister by judging each one of them as they did not know nor understood what had happened but continued to bully us disregarding what bystanders said about the female guards who was at wrong.

It is very sad that security guards at Park station conduct themselves in that way with impunity and what strikes me is that in everything that happened we felt something was untoward maybe they stood will I'll intentions against unsuspecting ATM users. But something was very wrong. I would not GE surprised that security guards there were at some point in some shaddy dealings at the ATMs or around Park station. There's a lot of workshop that needs to be done to those three guards and that female guards. Their accent sounded foreign not sure if it was because they all battled to speak English as I addressed them.

Yes it is very sad. My last word us that ATM users at Park station need to be careful around those guards. Even after we left we felt they could be involved in the so called card scanning device schemes. I can't find what is that they did after people around the ATM came and said the female guard
