ATM *******

Today the 21st of September 2018 at 12.36 PM I went to your Self Service ATM at JHB City Deep Market to deposit cash to EFT to pay a supplier for fertilizer. Being a farmer time is of upmost importance to get the soils ready before planting and everything has to work on your timeline. I proceed to make the deposit, enter my reference number and cell number and put the money into the ATM. At this point the ATM goes haywire and then sends my card out and gives me the slip attached below. Upon freaking out than this could be a ****, I stand by the ATM and call your Call Centre. For 25 mins I tossed from Pillar to Post saying no body can help me, I need to go to the closest Branch. At the branch I am Told to wait and after 45 mins there is nothing the Branch can do as this ATM of yours is off site and Not managed by FNB. I am told to fill out a form and then after 5-7 working days after an Investigation my money will be returned to me. Do you Understand that I don’t have 5-7 working days as I needed to pay for the Fertilizer today so that by next week Tuesday it can be dispatched and I can Fertilizer my fields as I am planting on the 4th of October. After 5-7 working days once I get my Money it will be the 3rd of October already so I will miss my planting date, meaning I will be behind on my production because your FNB ATM is faulty. This from FNB saying we must use Self service options and getting yourself in a situation like this. What happens if this Money is for medical reasons and I couldn’t do the Payment and a family member can’t get treatment, what happens if this money was for my family living in another province and they could buy food over this Long weekend? As a Bank you couldn’t even help me out with a Loan to help cover the problem you gave me. I was willing to take out a Loan but it declined. Your Motto is how Can we Help You, Yet on the ATM paper it says we can’t Help You. Please FNB sort out your ATMs and Your Turn around time cause is going to affect someone who really doesn’t need this issue in their life. I Hope to hear from You Soon
