ATM not properly serviced

I deposited cash on the ATM on Saturday 15 Jan 2020 and again on the 17 January 2022 . The machine on these two occasions just swallow my cash without giving me the total amount deposited. Why are the machines not properly serviced. I drove all the way from NW to lodge a claim as it's supposed to be done on that particular bank where the incidence occurred. I have lost money and time waiting to lodge the claim.
