ATM JAM

I have just deposited cash on a FNB atm in Parktown Branch where by I went to the first machine which had a none responsive screen after being guided by the security to use another machine, I went to the next machine which took cash and immediately went in a “device recovery mode” rejected my card with no slip or deposit confirmation. I am inside the branch and nothing can be done today till they cross check cash on the atm and thereafter will be credited the next business day What if it an emergency? Unfortunately it’s a procedure
