ATM card retained by atm

On 2016-04-06 I inserted my bankcard into the atm at Hemmingways East London. The atm retained my card. Upon visiting the fnb branch in Hemmingways i was not helped at all. Nearly 30 phonecalls later i was told the atm cancelled my card and i have to apply for a new one at a cost to me.. This is totally unaceptable as the card was issued not even 3 months ago on a new business account. I have no means to transact at the moment and I cannot begin to understand why i should pay for a new card..if FNB does this to 10 000 of their clients per month imagine the amount of money they ***** from the consumers/clients..totally pathetic..i am in the process of opening an account with ABSA. FNB better get their act together...
