On 25th March 2024I went to the FNB branch in Queensburgh branch, KZN. I was at the bank at 11am and was only able to leave 1h40. Why ? Because the COO of FNB decided that after COVID all brokers work from home and that branches cannot do cash withdrawals / unit trust withdrawals . A lovely consultant at the branch tried several occasions getting through, but was pushed pillar to post from one call centre division to another . c alls started at 11h10 and achieved success only at 13h40. What a shame . Totally riddled with red tape and the call centre agents have no idea what was required. FNB broken like many things in our country.
