@FNB South Africa's Credit Card department
With the assistance of a friendly, professional and prompt service of an FNB consultant (who's name I will mention once this seemingly never- ending saga is over), I have now managed to close 2 of the 3 accounts which I've been trying to do for 3 months. The Credit Card department, on the other hand, has definitely not been that forthcoming in the very least. One consultant after the other has informed me that they have tried to contact me "to no avail" even though I have indicated in each and every email, that I now live in Namibia and that they therefore NOT be able to phone me on my S.A. cell number. I have thus far, supp**** a signed and dated a copy of my S.A. ID to then supply my ID number to yet another consultant and answered one email after the other to get to an outcome which I've hoped for since June this year. I am waiting with baited breath to see if yet another incorrect deduction will be made at the end of this month, or whether I will finally be reimbursed and put this nightmare behind me.
Instead of resolving my complaint lodged on 01 October 2020, I've been sent from pillar to post - always from the same email address - i.e.
*** and I've now dealt with 1/2 (if not more) of the complaint consultants - needless to say ... unsuccessfully
I hope that FNB Care - whom I have now reached out to (again) will make someone available who has the necessary knowledge and expertise to actually do the proper investigation of what FNB owes me instead of being told what I owe them
