Approved payment holiday revoked without any communication

I app**** for an extension on my payment holiday on the FNB loans. It was approved and I received the confirmation in writing. However the debit orders did go off my account yesterday. I contacted my personal banker (who is really very helpful) and he found out that the approval was revoked without any communication. I am really disappointed as this has put me in a very difficult position as not only has my husband lost his income he was also hospitalized for 2 months. In really difficult times the banks are really very unhelpful.
