Appreciate new business for long term sustainability

FNB can you help me? I recently joined FNB after almost a 20 year interval due to past negative experiences and thought just maybe I should give them a try since times have changed since we last parted. I will start by expressing the on-boarding process was quick and easy with updates and follow-ups with their friendly staff. I believed us to be on new ground, where the soil will yield is fruits in a mutual relationship. The first month was a wild ride, and I was exploring all the latest developments and was impressed. I decided to make them my primary account and moved all my banking to them, as I believed that they can provide me with the experience and expectations that I was now enjoying. I am still in the trail phase before migrating my full households finances to FNB. All was going well, I also felt apart of the FNB family and was thus afforded the proverbial "seat at the table" to enjoy the benefits the same as other clients. I as many other clients joined the queue for the much anticipated black Friday birthday deals and was fortunate enough to successfully place an order for an iPad which my son requires for school and was hoping to gift him with for his birthday or latest Christmas. Some time passed and I queried why the order was not reflecting in the FNB connect app "to be delivered" tab. I was initially told I was awaiting Salary switch confirmation and to allow 24-48 hours. Some 3-4 business days later still nothing. I was given a bit of a run around where they could not detect anything on their end and that I should contact *** which I did and were prompt in their responses who also ended up asking me to once again query the status with FNB Connect. It appeared that I would be stuck in an endless loop. The next day the order appeared under the "to be delivered tab" and I found some relief but the status reflected incomplete. I then contacted the FNB Connect agent whom indicated to me that I am pending the salary switch, to which I indicated that I have switched my salary and to refer to my account with relevant reference. I was then ultimately let down by FNB indicating to me, that there is nothing they can do, the system automates verification, and this happens with 3 successive salary deposits into the account, if not done within 30 days the order will be cancelled. I therefore queried the logic to this, came up with an improvised solution to have ad-hoc salary payouts 2 more times within this 30 day window to meet the system requirements to meet the intent of said challenge, to which the agent advised I will not meet. I am greatly frustrated and disappointed by FNB to allow afford clients the opportunity and create reasonable expectation of service delivery. IF these are indeed gatekeepers to a process, why not firstly declare this upfront, by system prompt or inactive icons in the app based on the users profile. Not to send a message "Congratulations, your order was successful. Reference FNB***EB96. Look out for more information and special deals from Connect". FNB please indicate to me how you could help me? I was also on the way to level 5 eBucks by in app tracking and if I failed to purchase this deal, I was prepared to purchase from the iStore at the alternate promotional deal which was up to 40% off from partner until 2nd December 2024 [this was my backup plan] which in effect would afford me the same deal, at that point in time. I do await to see if an amicable solution can be found or if the original order can be honored.
